Thank you for participating in the Rail Ranch Run

Boosterthon! It was a great day! On Tuesday we will be having the
fun run for our afternoon class because they couldnt finish the run
because of the heat. Fall is here and we will be talking about
weather and how it changes for science.
Language Arts: Our focus this week is on rhyming words,
beginning sounds, nouns, synonyms, and the letter /m/ sound. Our
lesson this week will be about the kinds of work people do. Our new
sight word is: and (along with I, like, the). Please continue to have
your child practice writing their names with the first letter capital
and the rest all in lowercase letters. We will also be practicing this
in class.
Math: Our math focus continues on number sense 0-5. This
week we will continue talking about the 5 frame to begin talking
about comparing numbers 0-5. We are also practicing writing
numbers 0-5.
Attached is a letter regarding parent-teacher conferences,
which will be held the week of Oct.19 th-23rd. The schedule for that
week will be a minimum day schedule which is 8:30am-

week. I will try my best to accommodate a time that works for you
for the conference time slots. Please return the letter with your top 3
time choices as soon as possible so I can put a schedule together to
let everyone know what time their conference will be. Please let me
