RESOLUTION CONDEMNING JUDICIAL TYRANNY AND PETITIONING GOD'S MERCY Whereas, the Govemor, Attomney General and ALL WE Blount County Legislators have sworn {an oath consistent with the moral Law of God ("So He'p Me God") to uphold the Constitution of ‘Tennessee and the Constitution ofthe United Slates, and ‘Whereas, the fulfilment ofthis oath, in the American tradition, may not be read to contradic the ‘wilen Constitution, Justice, Reason and higher Natural Lave ard ‘Whereas, not al orders claiming authority under color of law are lawful: and ‘Whereas, unlawil orders, no matter their source - whether from a military commander, a ‘federal judge, or the Unied States Supreme Court - ere and remain uniawful, and should be resisted: and Whereas, the American system of federalism envisions a political stance of resistance by States and their ofice holders against lavess federal court orders: and Whereas, modemily, federal judges have once again usurped powers not delegated to them, and have violated Reason, the Rule of Law and Natural Law by purporing to strke dow State Taw and acts of the People recognzing and protecting Natural Mariage: and ‘Whereas, the United States Supreme Court is rot the sole and final arbiter ofthe powers ofthe States under the Ninth and Tenth Amendments, when i acts in an ares outside of its jurisdic tion; and ‘Whereas, the federal Juciciary was created by the Founders to have “neither Force nor Wil, but merely judgment; and must ullmately depend upon the aid of the execute arm" and the States, forthe cartying out ofits judgments, and itis high time that the Court be so reminded, and ‘Whereas we are forced beyond our vishes to comply with what Is clearly against our con- science, and violates what the Bil of Rights, oth State and Federal, give us te Right i do.
