BENCHMARK SERIES
User-friendly operating heights of 750 mm
(floor to top edge of the bottom heating platen)
Minimum construction height of the machine
Very large opening strokes
Deflection-resistant and spacious clamping unit
design
Fully hydraulic clamping system with automated
mould height adjustment
Easily accessible material feed area
SIGMA SE SERIES
Especially designed with extended heating platens
for step moulding of composite insulators and surge
arrestors. Moving platen is specially reinforced to
minimise deflection.
Machine sizes of 2700 kN with 1000 mm long platen,
4500 kN with 1500 mm long platen and 6300 kN
with 1700 mm long platens are available.
DESMA T-SERIES
Lateral injection with height-adjustable injection unit
Very large shot volumes possible
Very large stuffing volumes can be realized for HTV silicone
Flexible gating possible with Cold Runner Flow diversion blocks
Ideal for double deck production
D 968.560 T
STATOR MACHINES
Manufacturing pump stators with injection
moulding machines is our special know-how.
For the production of stators, DESMA offers
a large scope of special machines in
different configurations. Horizontal gating
is preferably used for very large dimensions,
while for small and medium sizes vertical gating
from the top or bottom is also feasible.
Corresponding clamping units are also available for
small and medium dimensions. Clamping fixtures
as well as height adjustable support frames are part of the
comprehensive range of accessories. With the twin injection
units and the multi-inject function, it is possible to realize
injection volumes of several hundred kilograms. Depending on
application and injection volume, injection pressures of up to
3,000 bar are available.

DESMA FIFO-A
The patented FIFO-A system is one of the most
successful DESMA injection units. The injection unit
is designed for average to very large injection volumes
and offers operating comfort, combined with a high
stability of the injection moulding machine.
The standard design includes the nozzle that can be
lifted off hydraulically.
DESMA FIFO-B
The FIFO-B system is in particular used on DESMA
horizontal machines. The injection unit is basically suited
for all injection moulding machines with lateral injection
into the mould parting surface (T-series). The retractable
hydraulic nozzle requires only a small hole in the clamping
unit and ensures maximum deflection stability even in
the middle section of the mould.
DESMA FIFO-C
The FIFO-C injection unit is ideally suited for small to
average injection volumes. The short nozzle provides
a short flow path in the injection unit. FIFO-C is the
standard injection unit for C-frame injection moulding
machines and small DESMA horizontal machines.
DRC 2020 HT
Sensing what is happening inside the injection moulding machine.
The DRC 2020 HT visualization with the generous 19" upright format
screen permits a simple and logical operation of the injection moulding
machine. In conjunction with the perfect illustration of operating sequences,
DESMA is once again defining the peak of technology with this system.
Intuitive and highly convenient machine operation.
The innovative haptic touch screen does not only provide the operator with
visual information, but also offers sensitive feedback. The screen supports
logical operator guidance and illustrates even complex correlations in an
easy to understand manner. Even the input of machine cycles, in particular
when parallel movements with several pumps are concerned, is possible in a
quick and uncomplicated manner. The logical correlations of the input masks
are established via graphically animated assemblies and the operator will find
it easy to get his bearings. The innovative control panel DRC 2020 HT can
also be retrofitted on existing DESMA injection moulding machines with
DRC 1210 and DRC 2010 visualization systems in a cost effective manner.
Function
DESMA SERVOGEAR
THE NEW HYDRAULIC GENERATION: ENERGY-SAVING, QUIET, PRECISE
Trend-setting drive concept by DESMA. Each servo
axis of the ServoGear hydraulics accommodates two
differently sized constant pumps, which depending on
speed and pressure can be operated individually or jointly.
Both at extremely low and extremely high speeds, the
three speed gear permits an accurate control with
simultaneously clearly reduced energy consumption.
Optimising the energy consumption of production
cycles. All in all, approx. 45% of hydraulic energy can be
saved, which corresponds to a reduction of the over-all
consumption by approx. 10% to 13%. The optionally
available EnergyControl software additionally leads to a
drastic reduction of the peak load consumption.
DESMA ServoGear hydraulics also reduces the noise
emissions. For parallel movements, a second servo axis
with ServoGear technology is used.
