About the courses


Objective
euroMind have designed a number of short courses (5 days) with
the objective of addressing the needs of present-day schools and
teaching staff.

Topics

Courses touch upon on a wide range of current education topics,


such as motivation, new teaching methods, use of information and
communication technology, management of European projects or
vocational teaching programmes.

professionals with many years of experience

Delivering method
Our classroom based, fully interactive courses are delivered in a friendly and inspiring atmosphere. The
teaching method involves experiential learning and workshop approach with

case studies, group

activities, simulations, thinking tools and discussions.


Participants are provided with a workbook and other working materials, needed for their active
engagement. Apart from that they are given enough time and space for individual reflection.

Language
The courses are conducted in English. For non-English participants interpreting assistance can be
provided.

1. How to integrate ICT in the teaching life


This training will help the participants to discover a range of useful methods of
how to integrate new technology like Internet & mobile applications, video
technology and computer software into their teaching.

2. CLIL (Content & language integrated learning) immersion & contentbased instruction
Thanks to this course participants will learn how CLIL works, how it can be used in
classroom, what their advantages are and where the future of this type of learning is.

3. Parents & Teachers: strategies for working together


This training will familiarize participants with effective strategies of how to work
with parents. Research has proven that when parents and teachers work together
students tend to earn higher grades, perform better on tests, attend school more
regularly, have better behavior, and show more positive attitudes.

4. Early school leaving


The training helps to get a better understanding of present day causes of early
school leaving among the young Europeans and methods of both preventing and
tackling the problem. Participants will be encouraged to prepare a workable manual
of good practices that can be applied in their school environment.

5. How to manage behavior problems among learners


Participants will learn how to set up and run a comprehensive classroom
management system encompassing among other topics counseling and

communication skills; instructional practices for teaching new behaviors


and ability to develop positive emotional bonds with students

6. Special Needs Children: How to address their needs?


This training will help participants to discover effective methods of providing for the
needs of special education students. Teachers can accomplish a great deal by
managing the learning environment proactively to prevent behavior problems and

7. Cultivating entrepreneurship in learners minds

In this workshop, a variety of teaching methods and learning opportunities are


presented to enable students (kids, teenagers or VET students) to transform into
entrepreneurs by showing them how to think, feel and act like entrepreneurs.

10. ECVET & Europass: Skills & qualifications recognition in


the Europe of Tomorrow
This training will help you get a better understanding of ECVET and Europass
Mobility tools, their use and importance in international educational and training
partnerships.

11. Paperwork digitalization in schools


The purpose of this training is to teach administration and teaching staff a

system of how to dilgitalise paperwork to solve one of the most burning issues
that present-day schools are struggling with.

12. Make your school environmentally friendly


Participants will get to know effective methods used by their Spanish colleagues
in their schools which they can transfer onto their school ground. The course
also provides an overview of elements/projects that can be employed in order to

integrate renewable energy education into the classroom.

All courses can be delivered any date for groups composed of at least 4 participants from one organization

Organizational Aspects
All courses last 5 days - from Monday to Friday.

The minimum number for each course to take place is 4 participants. EuroMind reserves the
right to cancel a given course four weeks before the course start date if the number of applicants
enrolled is less than 4 participants.

In case your organisaion is interested in sending at least 4 participants for one specific course
then you can propose your own date for the delivery of the course.

In case of 1, 2 or 3 applicants from the same organisation, please refer to the established dates
for each course.

Participants should arrive on a Sunday and departure on a Saturday.


EuroMind offer accommodation in self-catering apartments and transfer from/to the Sevilla
Airport to all participants.
