2015 South Iowa Cedar League Cross Country Meet

Date and Location: Thursday, October 15th, 2015 @ Sigourney Golf and Country Club in Sigourney. The
Sigourney Golf Course is located a half-mile north on V-45 off of Highway 92. When coming from the West
you will take the 1st left before you after you enter town.

Order of Events: 4:30 pm JH Girls and Boys
5:00 pm JV and Varsity Girls
5:30 pm JV and Varsity Boys
6:00 pm Awards - will be at the Clubhouse
--Times are approximate. Boys race wont start until completion of the Girls race.

Awards: A SICL trophy will go to the winning team in both the boys and girls race. Individual medals will go
to the Top 10 runners in the girls and boys race. These individuals will be considered 1st Team (1-5) and
2nd Team (6-10) All Conference. The 11th and 12th place will be considered Honorable Mention
all-conference.

JH Awards: We will be having a JH race for boys and girls. We will have medals for the Top 20 in both
divisions.

Packets: Coaches will receive a packet with course maps, score sheets, trash bag,
etc upon arrival to the meet. Score the first 5 finishers for a team. The top 7 finishers
on a team are the varsity. Other finishers on a team will be displaced from team
scoring. Runners will get a scorecard in the finish chute to turn into their coach.
COACHES-please get scorecards and score sheets turned into the clubhouse ASAP
after each race so we can get results tabulated quickly.

Parking: The Golf Course itself has a smaller parking lot. If you are bringing a suburban it is pretty simple
to park in that lot. If you are bringing a bus then we would like you to park on the side road just north of the
Golf Course practice range.

Facilities and Camps: The Clubhouse will be open with restrooms available. The South end of the
clubhouse will be for the coaches meeting and to turn in scorecards. Team camps should be on the No. 1
Fairway or Course Practice Range. Please make sure and pick up your camps at the end of the day.
Please stay off the GREENS while at the course.

Lynnville-Sully, Montezuma, North Mahaska, Sigourney, Tri-County
