WEEK 2 We played a “find the same picture” game.

At first we were all confused because the instruction was not very clear  I understand that in games, the insrtuctions are of great importance. We started to play the game with no idea about it but in real class the Ss may hesitate to start it. We talked in L1 most of the time. I deduced that, -especially after my presentation- we can not take everything into consideration. You think that Ss will use this structure in this game but they may prefer completely a different one in speaking. It is also about being experienced I suppose… And I must add that I have difficulty in choosing the correction type. It depends on the mistake but I can not decide on it. I love Cem hoca’s way of giving feedback and corrections. Using some symbols like  may be quite effective. When I become a teacher I will mostly prefer “self correction”. I believe that it is the most effective one among them. When I find my mistake, I never forget it again. Peer correction may be a bit dangerous because Ss don’t know how to correct eachother. They may offend eachother. Corrected S may feel bad and correcting S may tend to think that he knows more than his friend. Anyways I’m in trouble with correction techniques. Could you please help me in this issue  thank you…
