1 c. cashew nuts (raw)

1 c. sugar

1/2 c. or more milk

1/2 c. melted unsalted butter

Soak cashew nuts for 3 hours and grind in the blender, adding as much of the milk

as it needs (about 1/2 cup) to grind them into a fine paste. In a saucepan mix the

paste with sugar and cook over medium heat. Keep stirring. Add butter gradually.

When the mixture reaches the consistency of a gum, remove from fire. Can be served

hot or cold.
