Space Frontier Foundation

The Space Frontier Foundation is an organization of people dedicated to opening the space frontier to human settlement as rapidly as possible. Our goals include protecting the Earth’s fragile biosphere and creating a freer and more prosperous life for each generation by using unlimited energy and material resources of space. Our purpose is to unleash the power of free enterprise and lead a united humanity permanently into the Solar System.

Speak Out on the Future of Space Supporters for VidVision Needed
The Space Frontier Foundation (SFF) wants to know what questions you would ask to stimulate interest in opening the final frontier. As a financial supporter of the VidVision Contest, you will help us select the question we ask people to answer in their video submissions. Questions like “What’s your opinion on the future of human spaceflight? Should space exploration efforts focus on returning to the moon, darting to Mars, something in between, or Cheap Access to Space (CATS)? Will the growing NewSpace industry dominate human space activities?” The submitted answers will serve a dual purpose of stimulating a discussion about space exploration while inspiring new generations through social media. William Watson, Executive Director of the Space Frontier Foundation, said, “We have no doubt that the state of space exploration will be changing but we are not sure which direction it will go in. This contest will enable both those with decades of experience and the newest generation of space advocates to express their opinions.” You too can express your opinion on how this contest can best support the Space Frontier Foundation’s space settlement mission by submitting your questions should you choose to become a financial supporter. The 2008 VidVision Contest awarded $3,500 in cash prizes and the SFF is presently seeking donors to fund the 2010 contest. If you are interested in supporting the development of NewSpace through media, please contact William Watson at william.watson@spacefrontier.org.
