Steps of Activity
Pre Activity
The teacher asks greating to the students:
Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb. How are you student?
the students answer should be: ,Waalaikumussalam.
Im fine. How are you? The teacher answer, Im
fine, thanks. Today Ill teach you, my name M.
Syamsul Arifin, Who absents today?. The studentss
answer should be: No one, sir! the teacher: oke,
good. Before we start o study the teacher ask the leader
class to lead praying. And the students pray together.
a. Apperception:
- The teacher ask to the students: Do you know
malaria disease?, the students answer should
be: yes, I do, sir, Then the teacher imply:
what is it cause? the students answer should
be: malaria is caused by Plasmodium from
female Anopheles bite.
b. The teacher asks: To what Class does the
paramecium belong? the students answer
should be: Protis Kingdom and Protozoa.
Teacher give the motivation to the students by
explain the advantages that student achieve
from study this material. So the students know
what does malaria cause.
c. The teacher informs the objectives of the
lesson.
Main Activity
a. The teacher explore the first knowledge of
students from the apperception: what do you
know about Protist? What the characteristics?.
From this question students know the
characteristic of Protist.
b. The teacher show the puzzle and the students

should do it.
c. The teacher ask to the student to make a group
of five. And the teacher give a worksheet to
each group so the student discuss.
d. Teacher explain the material based on discuss
result and give a exploration so all the learning
objective will achieve.
e. The teachers show the picture, slide show or
video about protozoa and the student look at
the picture or video, while listen the teacher
explanation. The student ask to the teacher if
they still dont understand.
f. Teacher give one card to each students
randomly. There are two kinds card : answer
and question card.
g. Students have 20 seconds to find out the card
that match with his/her card.
h. Students that have found the answer can sit
down.
i. Students read the question and answer in front
of the class.
j. Teacher give reinforcement to avoid
misconceptions.
Post Activity
a. The teacher ask and guides students to conclude the
lesson based on the objectives.
b. Teacher give the students evaluation by give a paper
pencil test.
c. The teacher ask the student to make a poster about
the malaria disease and study about plant-like
Protist.

3. Identify the parts of the Paramecium by writing the number on box.

4. How does an ameba reproduce?

5. How does the amoeba digest food?

Answer Key:

Paramecium:
1. 1. Cilia , 2. Pellicle, 3. Macronucleus , 4. Micronucleus, 5. Contractile Vacuole, 6. Mouth
Pore, 7. Gullet, 8. Food Vacuole, 9. Anal Pore, 10. Trichocysts,11. Ectoplasm, 12.
Endoplasm.
2. a. Micronucleus : to regulate the reproductive proses (generative function).
b. Macronucleus : to regulate cells growth, activity like moving, digesting (Vegetative
function).
c. Food Vacuole : To digest the food.
d. Contractile vacuole: To regulate and guard the osmosis pressure in the body.
3. 1. Cell membrane, 2. Nucleus, 3. Contractile vacuole, 4. Ectoplasm, 6. Endoplasm, 7.
Food vacuole, 8. Cyst.
4. Asexual reproduction is most common. It occurs by binary fission or multiple fission at
the first the nucleus will cleave, an then the cytoplasm . Sexual reproduction may involve
isogamy or anisogamy.
5. At the first the amoeba approaching food particle, then amoeba forming pseudopodia, and
its will round the food so the food enter to the cell by endositosis and form food vacuole.
Food vacuole containing food particle in the cytoplasm. Food vacuole will circulate the
nutrients to cell and after that the waste will be leaved o cell by eksositosis.
