They were given a spelling
list with the ai, -ay, and a_e
pattern. We brainstormed
different words that
demonstrate these patterns.
Tomorrow they will begin
working with the spelling
words.

vowel sound. They began
their Word Work books.
They were given a spelling
mat with different activities.
They had to do one activity
with all 15 spelling words,
then they could move on to
the next activity. An example
activity is rainbow write.
They have to write all of their
spelling words in pencil and
then go over them using
different colors.
