COM THEORY & PRACTICE
it’s not the technology it’s what you do with it
This course is a global, interdisciplinary introduction to theoretical and practical approaches in communication studies and the various ways people employ language, image, and more cinematic means for communicative purposes. Through a series of hands-on projects (blogs, videos, presentations) students will learn to research and analyze contemporary issues and trends in the field of communications, with an emphasis on emerging communication technologies.
