Part A Linear Conduction along a Homogeneous and Composite Bar
The thermal conductivity of an object is dependent on its composition and dimension. The dimension include the cross- section area and also the length. There are some factor that affect the rate of conduction that need to be consider which are the temperature difference, cross- section area, length and time. The length is the distance for heat travel. By increasing the area of the specimen, the thermal conductivity will decrease.
