places you go
such as the

Students will create

a Google Trek that
shows the distance
between their home
and 3-5 other places
they regularly visit.
In the end, they will
calculate the
distance of all
locations to
determine which is
the closest and
furthest from their
homes.
3d. Process data
and report results.

Creating. Students will

develop and design a
map of their
neighborhood and all
the places they visit to
calculate distances
between them all.

Learning Disabilities EEOs

By working in
groups, students
with disabilities
have extra support
from peers when
the teacher is
unavailable for help.
The work is also
split amongst group
members so the
workload is evenly
distributed and can
be easier for
students.

Reflection: After completing this matrix, I can see how I can incorporate the use of primary resources across multiple subjects
whereas before I only considered the use of primary resources in social studies lessons. I also really enjoyed incorporating Google
Trek in lessons I would not traditionally use maps for such as math and science. Using different kinds of resources in lessons will
make students learning more authentic unique to each student.
