5-6PM Class
Part I (15 minutes): Music Reading Exercise
- Teams will compete for points with music exercises on the board
- Focus on ability to read music at sight and group work in pairs
- Naming and singing melodies written by other students
Part II (10 minutes): Vocalizing
- Students will do breathing and warm-up exercises directed towards improving
breathing technique
Part III (35 minutes): New Music
- Learn text to Clementine, American folk ballad
- Learn melody
- Put two together
- Special attention will be paid to correct text and intonation

Homework: Practice along with recordings of Clementine

6:15-7:15PM Class
Part I (10 minutes): Music Reading Exercise
- Students will be separated into their two teams
- Teams will compete for points with music exercises on the board
- Focus on ability to read music at sight and group work in pairs
- Naming and singing melodies written by other students
Part II (10 minutes): Vocalizing
- Students will do breathing and warm-up exercises directed towards improving
breathing technique
Part III (40 minutes): New Music
- Learn text to Auld Lang Syne, traditional Scottish song sung at New Years in Englishspeaking countries.
- Learn melody
- Put two together
- Special attention will be paid to correct text and intonation

Homework: Practice along with recordings of Auld Lang Syne
