The Institute for Student Business Education (ISBE) is Northwestern University’s foremost undergraduate student business organization with over 200 active students. ISBE exists to provide experiential learning for Northwestern undergraduates who are eager to strive for success in business. We provide learning opportunities in the realms of marketing, finance, business writing, entrepreneurship, sales, and much more through concrete and tangible experiences. Our initiatives are all targeted towards one goal: to provide Northwestern students the best opportunities for business education as possible.

Analytics • Analytics seeks to gather and interpret data on the more technical aspects of marketing and publishes reports on its findings. • Analytics’s clients include student groups, corporate sponsors, Kellogg School of Management as well as North Shore businesses. Financial Services Group • Financial Services Group (FSG) provides classes on Portfolio Management Theory, Equity Research, Investment Research, Portfolio Management, and Principle Investments. • Students involved with Principle Investments have the opportunity to manage over $10,000 of real capital. Minorities In Business • Minorities in Business (MIB) seeks to promote awareness of business among minorities.
• MIB provides opportunities for minorities to learn about and begin a career in business through speaker events, urban education programs, partnerships with industry, scholarships, and internship programs. Northwestern Business Review • Northwestern Business Review (NBR) is a student run and produced quarterly magazine that highlights fun, relevant and engaging topics to which business-minded students can relate. • Builds a community of college students that aims to make a difference through various avenues of business. • Circulation of 8,000 copies distributed to undergraduates on campus and the neighboring areas. Northwestern Student Holdings • Northwestern Student Holdings (NSH) operates as a parent company to multiple student-run businesses that generate substantial revenue and employ over 150 students and professionals. • NSH is responsible for NUTutors, a tutoring business for high school students in the area immediately surrounding Northwestern, and

Advertising in the NBR: NBR is published bi-annually and distributed to undergraduates
on campus, as well as the neighboring Evanston area. The magazine has wide readership that can help strengthen your brand on campus.
Human Capital Analysis: Our Human Capital team annually develops materials that
allow our sponsors to gauge a better understanding of ISBE. These materials include an annual breakdown of ISBE members’ class, majors, interests and more. ISBE also develops a resume book annually that is divided by classes and interests.
*We work closely with the University Career Services (UCS) to ensure that the value of your time spent with ISBE and with Northwestern is maximized. In the course of planning events for your firm, ISBE collaborates with UCS to reserve rooms, order food and drinks, market your event to gain the widest exposure and all with the least amount of effort on your part.
