Dialogue On Each Of The Units
Colbourne Online Forum is a scholarly, higher education and professional environment for students
studying online, in-class or distant learning to engage in Intellectual and Collegiate Dialogue. The Forum
only allows Questions, Posts and Scholarly Information related to the specific unit in review. Others
questions are referred through the appropriate channels and personnel.
Colbourne Dialogue Groups – are making your learning experiences focused, fun, engaging and
interactive. The Dialogue Group is for guided learning and for students in our higher education
community to participate, share and take responsibility for their own fulltime development. You will find
videos, newspaper clips, journals and/or review notes posted by the Forum moderator for the weekly
lessons to support your development in the course area and for use in your coursework.

ROLE OF STUDENTS

(12) Sessions/Post by the Moderator over the next 12 Weeks. (Remember week 13 is the online multiple

from your participation in the Dialogue you MUST answer the review questions by Friday of each week.
You will be penalized for Late Posts.
You cannot respond to any review question in the Dialogue Groups by cutting and pasting information on
the Comments. If you are found guilty of doing so – your post will be deleted promptly and you will be
immediately given an 'F' Grade by the Moderator. You can share your own perspectives, however where
necessary you should validate your arguments through referencing the ideas from other sources. In ALL
cases where your ideas and information are pulled from other sources than your own, you MUST cite and
properly reference these sources. Plagiarism is a crime punishable by expulsion.
The Moderator will be using a class register to record your excellent and anticipated participation in each
of the Dialogue Groups. At the end of the semester, if you answer all the lessons appropriately and
timely, you will earn an ‘A’ Grade – The Full 10 Marks from participation in the Forum.
