Caterpillar Construction Project

This month, we will study the butterfly life cycle in Science. For this month’s family project, all students are to make a 3-D caterpillar model. It may be made out of any materials, as long as there is a 3-D end product.

The models must have the following parts:
o o o o o o o o head jaws (mandibles) eyes (ocelli) bristles (setae) true legs (thoracic legs) prolegs spiracles thirteen body segments (including head)

*Make sure to label all of the parts except for the individual body segments.

Caterpillars are due on th Friday, May 7 .
