INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINGERPRINTING

HUMAN RESOURCES UNIT

In accordance with Nevada Law and Clark County School District (CCSD) regulation, as a pre-condition of
employment, all new and returning applicants must be fingerprinted by CCSD Police Services. Please be
advised that you cannot and will not be offered employment with the Clark County School District until
your background check is completed and approved. Former employees are required to be re-fingerprinted.
A $60.00 money order/cashiers check or pay online at, ccsd.net/departments/police-services/background
(non-refundable fee) must be submitted to Clark County School District, 2832 E. Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV
89121, Room 108 prior to fingerprinting.
SUBSTITUTE/GUEST TEACHER APPLICANTS:
If you are applying for a substitute/guest teacher license for the first time, you will need one (1) FD-258 fingerprint
card, in addition to the Civil Applicant Waiver form when you fingerprint with CCSD Police Services. The
FD-258 fingerprint card and Civil Applicant Waiver form will be given to you when you submit your money
order/cashiers check or online payment confirmation in Room 108. The FD-258 fingerprint card will need to
accompany your Educator Licensure Application with the Nevada Department of Education. Please do not write
on the fingerprint card.
RECERTIFICATION/RENEWING EDUCATOR LICENSE:
**If you are recertifying/renewing your Educator License, you will need a $15.00 money order/cashiers check or
pay online at, ccsd.net/departments/police-services/background (non-refundable fee). Submit your money
order/cashiers check or online payment confirmation to Clark County School District, 2832 E. Flamingo Rd, Las
Vegas, NV 89121, Room 108. The FD-258 fingerprint card will need to accompany your Educator Licensure
Application with the Nevada Department of Education.
