thousand 350 square km of land on the Island of Cyprus. Turkish Republic of North Cyprus
has a rich history. Many civilizations have lived in Northern Cyprus of Turkish Republic.

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has four major cities. There cities are; Kyrenia Nicosia ,
Fagamusta and Morpohou. North Cyprus has a new tourism facilities, trained staff for tourism
industry and the most importantly pristine nature. All these facilities provide advantage for
Northern Cyprus. Northern Cyprus has three major industries. There industries are tourism,
education and agriculture. There industries are more important tourism industry. Northern
Cyprus Economy is development on equal terms to global economy. Tourism industry is
important for global economy. Between 1977 and 1986 was a recession in North Cyprus. As a

Summer tourism has continued between 1986 and 1998 in Northern Cyprus. Nevertheless,
Gambling tourism was banned in Turkey in 1998. After Casinos were opened in Nothern
Cyprus in 1999 and with rapid development is put into service new hotels in North Cyprus.
Tourism ministry prepared tourism master plan for Northern Cyprus in 2008. This plans has
new tourism investments area, new tourism concepts and to solve the problems of tourism.
New tourism investments are made in the Bafra region. 15 new hotels will open next year in
