OBJECTIVES (Mathematics)
Ontario Curricular Expectations: Number Sense and Numeration:
- read, represent, compare, and order whole numbers to 10 000; decimal numbers to tenths,
and simple fractions, and represent money amounts to \$100;
- demonstrate an understanding of magnitude by counting forward and backwards by 0.1 and
by fractional amounts;
- solve problems involving the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of singleand multi-digit whole numbers, and involving the addition and subtraction of decimal
numbers to tenths and money amounts, using a variety of strategies;
- demonstrate an understanding of proportional reasoning by investigating whole-number unit
rates.
Lesson Objectives:
1. Review fractions and acts through a board game

an appropriate and respectful manner.

Play the game Find Someone Who as a review for your test on Wednesday

PRACTICE

## Students move around room, asking their

classmates to answer a square on their board.
That student will write the answer on the
square, and then initial or write their name.
Students should have a slate or paper to work
Students only sign name on the square they

## Once all squares are filled in, students sit and

the teacher randomly calls out student names.
Students place a marker on the name where it
appears on their card.
