Star Cycle

by Nyamiiri Biel

Overview

The life cycle of a

star
is an explanation of
how a star is born, how
it dies, and how it
changes over time.
stars can change in
size, color,
temperature, mass,
density, and
gravitational pull.

Stellar Nebula

A stellar nebula is a
cloud of dust and gas.
overtime the particles
combine because of
gravitational pull. They
fuse together to form a
star.

Average Star/Massive Star

After nuclear fusion ,

depending on how much
gas and particles are in
the nubal, it determines
the size of the star.
ether becoming a avage
star or massive star.

Red Giant/ Red Supergiant

is a really big star. at

this stage fusion stage
stops, because the
hydrogen is now iron.
gravity at this point
takes over and collapse
the star. when a red
giant collapses, a nebula
forms, but when a
supergiant collapses, a
supernova forms.

Planetary Nebula

Ring shaped nebulae

around an aging star.
that drifts off the
red giant after it
explodes.

Supernova

The supernova is the

biggest force that
we know. it ejects
mass and forms
heavy elements. also
increase luminosity.

White Dwarf

it's the core of red

giant that is left over.
composed of carbon
and oxygen.

Black Hole

a black hole has lots of

mass and gravity. the
gravitational pull is so
strong that no matter or
radiation can escape.

Neutron Star
most dense or/and compact
star. it's made up of
neutrons.
