people

The Constitution and our flag

On June 21st ,1778 fifty five men
wrote the Constitution. It applies
for all American citizens. It has all
the rules for our country. Now
everyone can be governed under
the same set of rules.
The Constitution establishes the
structure of the United States
government. It guarantees
equality under the law with
majority rule and rights of
minority protected., says James
Madison JR from Virginia. The
document also affirms individual
worth and dignity for all people
and protects fundamental
freedoms of
religion,press,assembly,and
petition.
At the very beginning of the
Constitution is the preamble. A

goals that will be served by the
government. There are six purposes of
our government. They are:1.To form a
more perfect union 2.Establish justice
3.ensure domestic peace 4.to provide
defense 5.promote the general welfare
6.secure the blessings of liberty. The
preamble begins with We the people
which means that the people rule.
The last parts of the Constitution are
the articles and amendments. The articles
are:1.legislative
branch
2.executive
branch 3.judicial branch 4.the states
5.the supremacy clause 6.ratification
procedure. The amendments are the rules
but the 1st ten are the Bill of Rights.
