Relaxation in upper age limit for CSS aspirants

As per news published in this paper on May 15, 2015, senators, besides other
issues, also discussed the issue of age limit for CSS aspirants. Some of them
suggested that there is no harm in increasing the upper age limit to 30 or maybe 35
for the candidates belonging to backward areas. It is really a point of consideration
and is a commendable effort by the senators who raised this issue.
But there is another point too; many candidates miss the opportunity of taking
competitive exams due to the higher qualification. The students of M.phil /M.S (18
Years of education) miss the chances because they spend most of their time in
getting formal education. While increasing the age limit for the candidates of
backward areas FPSC should also consider the issue of increase in upper age limit
for aspirants with higher qualification. It will result in an increase in competition.
And skilled people will come out to lead the important institutions of this country.
