To whom this may concern:
With the upcoming elections in May 2016, we Filipinos will be electing the next president of the
Philippines and also the future leaders of our country. The Youth-to-Government 2016, a
month-long series of region-based forums, aims to engage the Filipino youth to participate in
May 2016 elections through discussions of what kind of leader the Philippines needs and how to
develop that in the youth. With the theme “Elections 2016: Count Me In!”, this one-day event in
Region IV-A CALABARZON will be happening on January 16, 2016, Saturday at (Alumni
Auditorium, De La Salle University-Dasmarinas.
In line with this, we humbly ask you to excuse ______________________ on the day of the
event to be able to attend Youth-to-Government 2016 ((CALABARZON)). Our delegates have
been chosen to represent their respective universities and organizations in this big gathering
youth. With their help, we aspire to create a culture of collaboration between the youth and the
government in order to find solutions to the problems our country is facing today.
