BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT

The group observed that most of the high school students are
constantly using plastic bottles for their drinks and throwing the bottles
anywhere after using it. Plastic bottles are non biodegradable, these bottles
will not decompose and can lead to environment pollution. On the other
hand, plastic bottles can be recycled. Thus, the group decided to make a
trash can exclusive only for plastic bottles, the plastic bottles that are thrown
in this trashcan will be used for recycling or the school may sell the collected
plastic bottles to add the schools income.
This project is intended to help the students in the school to change
their practice on throwing garbage anywhere without thinking what
consequences what might occur that can greatly affect our environment and
our health and also to help the school gain extra money.
