SPORTUL
,,Sportul este un domeniu de activitate uman care deine un
potenial imens de a-i reuni i de a se adresa tuturor,
indiferent de vrst sau origine social. n afara aspectului
de mbuntire a sntii cetenilor europeni, sportul are
i o dimensiune educaional i un rol social, cultural i de
recreere."
Proiectul nostru rspunde valorilor europene care
promoveaz egalitatea de anse i incluziunea social prin
sport . ( ,,Cartea alb privind sportul Comisia European
, 2007)

social origin. In addition to the appearance of improving health of
European citizens, sport has an educational dimension and a
social, cultural role and recreation."
Our project meets the European values that promote equal
opportunities and social inclusion through sport.

care piciorul stng i mn stng
erau diferite fa de ale noastre.
Doctorii au recomandat prinilor ca la
vrsta de 3 ani s i fac o intervenie
medical, astfel nct s-i poat instala
o protez n locul piciorului i s poat
merge.
Ezra adora jocul de baschet, iar
faptul c avea posibilitatea s-l joace,
aproape c-l fcea s uite de
dizabilitatea lui. Se mai ntreba din
cnd n cnd de ce nu poate fi ca toi
ceilali, spunndu-i mamei lui s-l
roage pe Dumnezeu s-i ofere un
picior, aa cum au toi copiii.
Bineneles, acest lucru nu putea fi
realizabil. Mare iubitor al jocului de
baschet, Ezra nu se uita niciodat la
desene animate, ci revedea meciurile
celor de la LA Lakers, fr s se
plictiseasc vreodat. Idolul su era
Pau Gasol, un juctor care a reuit s-i
aduc micuului zmbetul pe buze i
care l-a ajutat s-i continuie povestea
mult mai motivat. Ezra a avut ocazia
de a-l cunoate pe Pau, iar acest lucru
i-a dat ncrederea de care avea nevoie
pentru a trece peste greuti. Deatunci, Ezra le explic tuturor
oamenilor cu dizabiliti c faptul c nu
suntem toi la fel ar putea fi un
privilegiu. Fr dragostea pentru sport
i fr ansa de a-i cunoate idolul,

Why do I love sport?


I love sport because I think its a way to make
new friends while youre playing with them and you can
integrate in society. You dont receive any hate because
youre different and the chances to win are equal for
everybody.
The benefits of practicing a sport are various.
For example you keep fit and you develop your physical
condition. You keep yourself healthy and you prevent
illness.
Some kids are feeling pushed aside and they
just want to have friends and, they also want to be good
at something, so, the sport is the best way to do this.
And if they dont have sport abilities they can also
practice a sport in the park.
Ive made a lot of friends since I started to play
badminton and I feel like can do anything when I
practice a sport.
Im glad that there are associations and people
who are launching antiracism projects through sport
because thats a way to tell people that is important for
children to feel loved or admired by somebody and that
projects are a way to help kids who are feeling pushed
aside to get new friends and to rediscover their selves.

Rasismul

Rasismul este din punct de


vedere
al
metodologiei
psihologice un esenialism.
Esenialismul cognitiv este
o form rspndit i vast
de mecanisme de clasare
tipice gndirii umane,
care
acoper procesele intelectu
ale att ale adulilor ct i ale
copiilor, pe cele ale indivizilor
din ri avansate socialmente
ct i pe acelea ale
membrilor triburilor aflate din
punct de vedere social nc
n plin preistorie.

El se rezum la tendina
spontan i persistent,
incontient i intuitiv,
de a reprezenta lucrurile
sau
persoanele,
considernd
caracteristicile lor ca
fiind produse de o
esen care n fapt

percepia indivizilor este

Rasismul
Rasismul reprezint un grup de atitudini,
practici i aciuni care i au sursa n convingerea
c diferenele sociale i culturale se explic prin
diferene biologice i ereditare dintre rasele
umane.
Rasismul
este
procesul
de discriminare datorat credinelor i ideologiilor,
produse n secolele XIX i XX de ctre francezii
Jules Soury, Joseph Arthur de Gobineau
i Charles Maurras sau de germanul nazist Alfred
Rosenberg, conform crora rasele omeneti pot fi
clasificate de la inferior la superior n baza
caracteristicilor biologice fundamental diferite cu
care par a fi nzestrate.
Rasismul presupune aadar c oamenii sunt
inegali n funcie de etnia creia i aparin sau de
culoarea pielii, adic, mai global, convingerea c
popoarele sunt inegale ca atare.
Comisia European a decis ca rasismul,
xenofobia, negarea sau banalizarea genocidului
s fie pedepsite cu nchisoare de la unu la trei ani,
n
rile
din
Uniunea
European.
"Rasismul i xenofobia nu i au loc n Europa
i nici n alt parte din lume" a declarat comisarul
european al Justiiei, Jacques Barrot. "Salut
introducerea sanciunilor severe i eficiente
mpotriva acestor nclcri ale drepturilor omului i
a libertilor fundamentale care sunt principii
comune n rile europene", a adugat acesta.
Membrii Comisiei Europene au hotrt s
sancioneze i "susinerea, negarea sau
ironizarea n mod public a genocidului, a crimelor
mpotriva umanitii i a crimelor de rzboi?.
n funcie de timpul necesar introducerii
prevederilor n legislaiile naionale, acestea ar
putea n cteva luni sau chiar n civa ani.

Printre cei 25 de elevi ai unei clase I, sunt i 2 eleve de etnie rrom. Primul lucru pe care l-am observat
intrnd n clas a fost faptul c cele dou fetie erau aezate n ultima banc.
Ceilali copiii din clas erau ocupai cu scrierea, pe cnd fetiele respective desenau-mzgleau mai bine
zis- cu nite cioturi de creioane colorate pe nite caiete murdare, ptate. Am rmas impresionat de
imaginea din faa ochilor: erau mbrcate srccios, murdare, nepieptnate, nengrijite, dar n ciuda
acestor dezavantaje...zmbeau.
Discutnd cu nvtoarea despre situaia lor am aflat c una dintre ele are 9 ani iar cealalt are 7 ani i
sunt surori; provin dintr-o familie numeroas i triesc la limita subzistenei; se ntmpl s lipseasc de
la coal (atunci cnd prinii merg s-i ctige pinea pe unde apuc iar ele trebuie s rmn acas
cu fraii mai mici) i sunt trimise adesea la cerit de ctre prini.

Nu au caiete, nu au ghiozdane-mai primesc de la ceilali elevi


din clas atunci cnd ei nu mai au nevoie de aceste obiecte,
nu reuesc s in ritmul cu ceilali elevi i ntmpin
dificulti de nvare; mi-a spus c stau n ultima banc
pentru c sunt interesate n mic msur de activitile
clasei, miros urt i distrg atenia celorlali elevi

Este un caz tipic de rasism clasic.


Este o manifestare aunei atitudini negative i
a unor comportamente discriminatorii fa de
rromi.
Sunt atribuite astfel caracteristici ce pun
romii n situaie de inferioritate fa de
celelalte grupuri.

Printre msurile pe care ar putea s le ia


conducerea colii pentru a limita/opri atitudinile
rasiste n coal se numr:
formarea continu a cadrelor didactice cursuri de formare centrate pe problema
integrrii i discriminrii;
un regulament de ordine interioar, care s
cuprind
comportamente
i
atitudini
nediscriminatorii la adresa elevilor;
favorizarea apariiei de grupuri de joac n
care s fie inclui i astfel de copii;
adaptarea curriculumului de ctre cadrul
didactic n funcie de posibilitile elevulului,
ntocmirea
unui
program
pedagogic
individualizat, etc;

Case of racism
in school
Among those 25 students in a class, there are 2
ethnic Roma students. The first thing I noticed in
class was that the two little girls were placed in
the last bench.
Other children in the class were busy with
writing, while those previously little girls draw with some stubs of crayons on some dirty,
stained notebooks. I was impressed by the
image in front of the eyes: they were dressed
shabby, dirty,
combed, but despite these
"disadvantages" .. .they were smiling.
Speaking with teacher about their situation I
found out that one of them has a 9 year old and
the other 7 years old and are sisters; coming
from a large family and living on the edge of
subsistence; happens to be missing from the
school (when parents go to earn bread where
you grab and they must stay home with younger
siblings) and are often sent to begging by
parents.
They dont have notebooks, not having
rucksacks more receive from other students in
the classroom when they no longer need these
objects, are failing to keep pace with other pupils
and learning difficulties;

FIGHTING RACISM THROUGH SPORT


As we all know, sport is a dynamic activity, which innovates constantly and which is not contaminated by the
political world. Sport is like life: it advances through evolutionary individualism. So, sport is a place where the
political system cant stop people from making their own choices and having a good time.
Nowadays, more and more people abandon the idea of making sport because they are too busy, tired or
they are simply bored of practicing.
The every day distractions , the large diversity of opportunities and ways of having fun are just a few
examples that make people give up their healthy way of living.
In my opinion , ones life is irrelevant or incomplete without at least a little sport, because this activity makes
your blood running through your veins , it makes you feel better, it is the healthy way of living which I
whole-heartedly recommend to everybody. Also, through sport, people connect with each other , act like a
team and communicate better , in order to build life-lasting friendships. So it doesnt matter what race you are,
because in the dark, we are all the same color. We should take into consideration that a books coverage says
nothing about its content. This rule of conception should also be applied on our way of judging others,
because most of the times we are probably wrong.
Racism is something you learn, not something you are born with , so what all of us should do is learning
how to integrate others, not to look down on them.

De civa ani coala noastr particip la o competiie de fotbal pentru biei intitulat Cupa Codrului la care
particip echipe de biei de la colile din zona noastr. Fetele erau mereu suprate c nu pot participa sau
in cel mai fericit caz atunci cnd competiia era organizat n coala noastr ele erau pe post de majorete.
Cnd competiia era organizat n deplasare fetele nu participau deloc, ele neavnd loc n microbusul colar.
Proiectul Fotbal antirarsim a venit ca o mnu i din start am ales s organizm o competiie ntre
dou echipe de fete echipate corespunztor i motivate s ctige. Am gsit cu greu o zi nsorit deoarece
vremea nu a inut cu noi, dar iat c a venit i ziua cea mare. Arbitru a fost domnul profesor de educaie
fizic Sebastian Rusu iar de pe margini ne-au susinut bieii, doamna director Papariga Iulia i profesoarele
Bud Mihaela i Negrea Maria.
Meciul a nceput timid dar lupta a fost strns i amndou echipele au ctigat. Au nvat c pot fi o echip
i am nvat cu toii c i fetele pot nscrie goluri i pot apra goluri. Toi participanii au fost de acord c este
bine s facem micare n loc s ne jucm pe calculator i c este bine s nu discriminm adic s nu facem
diferene ntre noi.
,,Competiia a fost cea mai bun ocazie pentru a-mi crete ncrederea n mine i n forele mele, a spus
Alexandra. ,,Ne dorim s participm i la anul a spus Andreea cpitanul albatrilor. Mai mult fetele s-au
gndit s organizeze i ele o competiie de fotbal fete ntre dou coli pentru a nvinge i n deplasare.
M bucur c am putut participa i anul acesta i felicit organizatorii pentru iniiativ i le urez success n
continuarea proiectului.

Influena sportului n societate


Dup prerea mea, cnd vine vorba de sport nu ar trebui nimeni
lsat de o parte sau ignorat. Sportul este n mare parte despre a fi o
echip i despre a aciona ca atare. La coal eu i colegele mele facem
parte din echipa colii de handball i am observat c atunci cand trebuie
s jucm mpreun mpotriva altei clase sau a altei echipe ne unim i
formm echipa perfect i aa ctigm meciul. Dar cnd vine vorba ca
la or s jucm una mpotriva alteia niciodat nu reuim s jucm cinstit
deoarece nu avem (unele dintre noi!) acel ceva, numit fairplay.

cele mai slabe nu joac, de multe ori le-am vzut plngnd sau

persoanelor n vrst. Exerciiile stimuleaz sistemul nervos i pstreaza
agilitatea creierului. Capacitatea de memorare poate fi imbuntit oricnd
prin intermediul sportului fizic i mental.

In my opinion, when it comes to sport one should not put aside or ignored.
Sport is mostly about being on a team and act as such. At the school for me and
my colleagues are part of the school team handball, and I noticed that when we
have to play together against another class or another team unite and form the
perfect team and so win the game. But when it comes time to play like one in
another match to play honestly never succeed because we have (some of us!)
That something called fairness. And I noticed that passed, then it has made
throughout the weakest teams do not play often we saw crying or irritating

cant enter the schools sports program. For
this they must fulfill several conditions: height,
weight, strength. If one of them is not fulfilled,
the school doesnt want to have him. From my
point of view this is not correct because
everybody should have equal opportunities.
No need to count some small things to get on
the highest point.
If discrimination exists everywhere, in
sport it should not be.

in society

Nowdays, a big part of our life we spent it in front


of the TV or in front of the computer screens, ever
since we are children. So doing a sport, has a very
important role in our life.
By practicing different sports we can fight
sedentariness, obesity and we can have a healthy
lifestyle. Educational institutions have an important
role in promoting sport. The sport should be
promoted in schools by encouraging all students to
do different kinds of activities without any kind of
discrimination between children, by giving them
the same opportunities to participate at activities
that take place in sports classes even if some are
better than others or have different social status.

In sport youll meet often this


discrimination. At big football
clubs are all kind of players,
different by their facts, by their
looking, by their religion, by their kind, by
their nationality. In every football match if in
a team exists a man with a different kind,
every time the rival team will criticize him.
Thats why they founded the campaign
SayNoToRacism, to no longer uses their
aspects, every man indifferent by his kind,
religion, nationality must have the
same rights as us all.

There shouldnt be

between people with
some extra pounds and
those who have a
normal weight, on the

encourage and

just because they cant

So, sport can have an important role,
integrating all the people in a much bigger
group in such way that everybody should feel
part of something. This begins with every
one of us. If we are careful to people around
us, we can create a better world, as we wish

Discrimnation is a situation in which a group or a single person is
treated different from others usually because they are part of a
distinct social group or other categories such as religion, age, sex or
people with different disabilities.
For example, sometimes, when playing sports, boys think that they
are better than girls. They think that if we are girls, we cant do
anything, but this is not true at all. Anyone can achieve performance
no matter the age, religion or sex. There are many sportive girls or
women who had had many good results in national or international
competitions. There, the sportives dont care about nationality,
religion or sex. They fight to win and to show their value.
In my opinion, spots influence us very much and does us a lot of
good. With the help of the sport we can struggle against diseases,
and helps us to develop our thinking and other skills, in other words,
to develop mentality and character.
Sports is a positive factor, and discrimination a negative one,
so the two of them cant be combined. Sports comes first, so when
the two of them meet, discriminations is abolished.

The Role and influence of sport in society


Sports is a very important factor in the growth and
proper development of a child. Therefore, in their free
time people should practice a sport like swimming of
football. From my point of view every sport is good.
But when a fat child or from another etniticity or
religion is going to a particular sport, in most cases is
discriminated by the other children. Maybe the most
important thing is that the coach doesnt know
anything about any of this so he cant prevent some
things from happening.
There are cases in which all this changes when the
coach is whistling the beginning of the match.

n general, comportamentul social se regleaz n funcie de ateptrile i reaciile celorlali. Cele


mai importante mijloace de transmitere sunt limbajul, mimica, gestica, diferitele forme de ntrire
pozitiv i negativ, pentru un comportament dezirabil, respectiv indezirabil. Comportamentul implic
o component intelectuala, una structural, una intenional i una emoional i poate fi deschis i
apt de perfecionare, sau nchis, stereotipizat.
Activitile sportive au un caracter social, a cror desfurare ne aduce n prezena semenilor; prin
aceasta, ne invit mereu la comunicare, interaciune, determinndu-ne s dezvoltm deprinderi de
relaionare social, precum i atitudini specifice.
Ca mediu favorabil socializrii, activitile sportive au urmtoarele caracteristici:
- ofer o ocazie de a cunoate ali oameni i de a comunica cu ei, de a dobndi unele deprinderi
sociale cum sunt tolerana i respectul fa de ceilali, de a tri emoii nu prea usor de resimit n alte
sfere ale vieii, de adaptare la obiectivul echipei, prin cooperare i coeziune;
- principalul scop al practicrii sportului i al exerciiului fizic este de a sprijini libera asociere n
vederea contactelor sociale;
- activitile fizice au efecte pozitive asupra autoaprecierii, ncrederii n sine, energiei, dispoziiei i
strii de bine;
- au efecte pozitive pentru persoanele cu disabiliti i alte categorii speciale de populaie.
Atunci cnd lum startul avem cu toii o ans egal, de care fiecare va beneficia n funcie de
pregtire, dorine, aspiraii, educaie, for.

About Sport
Sport is an activity which involves physical exertion and skill. It is governed by a set of rules
and it is usually played in a team or individually for enjoyment or in competitions.
Many people around the world do sport because it is a pleasant way of spending the time
and it brings us a multitude of benefits, like improved health and fitness, and the
development of social and communication skills.
I believe that one of the humanitys biggest problem is the incapability of understanding and
accepting the uniqueness of others. The role of sport is to break the shaded walls of
discrimination and to plant, instead, a field of daisies where people from all over the world
could play together, without the fear of being judged by the other individuals. Sport has the
power to connect people like no other activity because it has no language. Talking is not
necessary. However, having a good time is.
In the grand scheme of things, wheter people have dark, white or yellow skin is not
significant at all as long as we are all having fun doing sport.
What truly matters is the smile on people faces when they do something they like, when they
feel connected to others. Sport has no colour, gender or age, it is an action with no
boundaries. Our job, as a society , is to keep it like this. Forever. To unite all people within
sport.

There was a time when I played handbal and it was the best time of my life! I
laughed a lot, a enjoyed every second, minute, hour of the training, and
honestly I couldn't ask for more.
When I was playing, I was full of energy and I thought I could do anything in
that moment. Before handbalcame into my life, I used to be very shy and I
didnt know how to fight back or how to support my opinions, so now, I could
say that experience helped me change these shortcomings!

good friends and
sometimes that
can make all the
difference.
I believe that any
kind of sport can
change lives for
the better and it
can help us to fit
in the society. In
my opinion,
everybody should
try to practice a
sport to see what
it is like, even if it
does not always
work, at least its
worth trying.

I have always
been
against
discriminating people
with disabilities. The
last scene that I
witnesses involved a
disabled boy from my
high school who was
mocked by a group of
teenage boys based
on the disability that
he had. It seemed so
unfair to me. I think
that all people are
equal so no one has
the right to offend,
humiliate or insult the
disabled just because
they are different. In
fact, some people with
disabilities can even
be a lot better at
different sports than
healthy people.

CERN , Organizaia European pentru Cercetri Nucleare este una dintre cele mai
mari i respectate centre pentru cercetri tiinifice din lume. Fondat n 1954 , situat
lng Geneva, n localitatea Meyrin este una dintre primele organizaii europene, iar acum
are 21 de state membere i peste 2400 de persone care contribuie la pregtirea,
executarea, analiza i interpretarea datelor tiinifice ale experimentelor complexe din
domeniul fizicii fundamentale, cutnd modul de formare a Universului i cum funcioneaz
acesta.
Vorbind despre egalitatea de anse, putem spune ca ea exist i se aplic nu doar n
lumea sportului. Dei Romnia nu este nc ar membr, studenii i profesorii din ara
noastr pot beneficia de cursuri organizate de CERN. Ins nu numai! Peste 600 institute i
universiti din ntreaga lume folosesc facilitile CERN.

Unii oameni de tiin care viziteaz annual, 10.000 din peste


113 de ri - jumtate din cei implicai n studiul fizicii particulelor
din lume - vin la CERN pentru cercetarea lor.
Am participat n perioada 04 -23 iulie 2010, alturi de 40 de
profesori din 22 de ri (UK, Grecia, Israel, Frana, USA, Ghana,
Finlanda, Spania, Portugalia, Rwanda, Italia, Japonia,
Kenya,Turcia, Slovacia, Tailanda, Olanda, Macedonia, Bulgaria,
Norvegia i Romnia) la programulul HST organizat anual n
colaborare cu alte organizaii printre care i UNESCO, pentru
profesorii de fizic. Toi am strbtut lumea ca s vedem
mainria uria - minunia LHC. Unul dintre obiectivele
programului este de a contribui la aprofundarea noiunilor
despre fizica particulelor.
n cele trei sptmni am participat la prelegeri, vizite
(Sfera Inovaiei , Square Van Hove-ca un muzeu n aer liber cu
componente utilizate la CERN, locul unde s-a nscut webuldatorit lui Tim Berners Lee n1989, Grid-ul-punctul zero al
reelei webb, la 100 m sub pmnt la experimentul CMS,
Laboratoarele CERNului, sli de training, Centrul de Control al
CERN ului, prezentarea unor materiale educaionale de la
Phywe, obiective turistice din Geneva), seminarii despre fizica
particulelor sub bagheta magic a managerului programului
HST Mick Storr, experimente n laboratoarele CERN-ului.

A fost o oportunitate
n plus, de a schimba
experiene i bune practici
cu profesorii din alte ri ale
lumii, am legat prietenii i
am simit valorile europene.

Sport, disabilities and discrimination


Sport, disabilities and discrimination three words that
usually dont get along very well. Most people think that if a
person has a major problem, for instance a disabled one who
doesnt have an arm or a leg, then he cant practice any sport.
Still, there are a lot of disabled people who started exercising
and practicing a certain sport and became world champions.
These people fight with themselves every single day to achieve
something great.
With the help of modern technology and some dedicated
doctors, these special people can run, swim, climb and do a lot
more. They can become famous champions due to the special
trainers who know how to work and motivate them. If people
have various physical problems, it doesnt mean they must be
forgotten or not taken care of; they should be helped to become
active members of our society because sport can change
disabled people to achieve their full potential.

Discrimination

the ability to judge somebody
without knowing his or her
story or life problems. You
can be discriminated for so
many
things:
your
appearance, skin, knowledge,
talent, education. But who can
discriminate you?
Insensitive people who
cant think how you feel
afterwards, uneducated or
jealous people who want to
be in the center of the
attention no matter what.
Before you discriminate
somebody, think first! Put
yourself in his or her shoes.
Dont judge somebody who
lost his leg because you dont
know what happened or how
the person feels.

Maybe he saved
somebodys
life
and
sacrificed his own to do it.
Conversely, give that
person a helping hand
because you will feel a lot
better, trust me. Dont
discriminate people who
dress
up
differently.
Maybe they have their
own style and dont like
common things. Dont
judge
if
you
see
somebody different from
you. We were born equal
but different!
I think if there were
no discrimination, it would
be more peace and
harmony on earth. So
stop discrimination! Only
God can judge you!
