UNOPPOSED MOTION TO DELAY SENTENCING

COMES NOW the United States of America, through its undersigned attorneys, and

hereby requests that this Honorable Court delay sentencing of defendant Ronal G. Skelton, now

scheduled for February 9, 1996, until after the trial of Criminal Proceeding No. 5:95-CR-074-C,

United States v. Oberkampf Supply of Lubbock, Inc., Cyril Reasoner and Clowe & Cowan, set

for February 20, 1996. In support thereof, the government would state to the Court that

defendant Ronal G. Skelton is expected to testify during the government's case-in-chief at trial in

Proceeding No. 5:95-CR-074-C. Skelton will be testifying pursuant to plea agreement with the

United States, and the government expects to report to the sentencing Court regarding the extent

and candor of Skelton's testimony which report should effect his resultant sentence. See,

United States v. Lopez, 26 F.3d 512, 522 (5th Cir. 1994).

Consequently, delaying sentencing would be in the interest of judicial economy since the

Court will then have the full record at the time of sentencing.

Respectfully submitted,
