BLUE AND GOLD GUIDELINES

1) BEHAVIOR
Participation in Blue and Gold should bring out the best in all of its participants.
Throughout the entire season all participants will excel in their physical talents
while maintaining the attitude of COR.
All participants must be aware of the extreme importance of the calendar and
guidelines. Failure to adhere to any guidelines and deadlines will result in the
loss of cooperation points for your team.
Blue and Gold is not an excuse for tardiness or failure to complete any
assignment. Academic studies are always a priority.
2) PRACTICES
All participants in Blue and Gold must wear KELLENBERG athletic attire to
practice. If the shirt does not represent Kellenberg then you should not
be wearing it. There will be no altering of the practice attire. This
includes rolling up sleeves, pants, and the bottom of the shorts. SOFFE
SHORTS are not allowed to be worn at practices.
No jewelry should be worn during practice at any time. All participants must
change in the locker room. There are no exceptions. Changing in the
bathroom or classroom will result in the loss of cooperation points and a grey slip.
Tap participants may not wear their tap shoes in the hallways.
All participants must keep their personal belongings to their school locker. We will
not be responsible for any items left out in the locker room or left behind in the
classrooms. No food or drink is permitted outside of the cafeteria at any
time. This includes water bottles.
All members of Blue and Gold must remain in the classrooms until a Blue and
Gold moderator dismisses them. At no time should participants be engaging in
activities other than practice. At no time should non-Blue and Gold members be
permitted to attend practices or socialize with members unless cleared with Mrs.
Perrone first.
With the exception of Mondays, all Blue and Gold practices will begin at 3:25. On
Mondays the practice will begin at 3:45. You must wait for a moderator of Blue
and Gold to open the room for you. All practices will end by 5:00 with the
exception of entrance, which will end at 4:45. All participants should begin clean
up with five minutes left in the practice. Practice rooms should be left exactly
how they were found. DO NOT TOUCH ANY items on or in a teachers desk.
For tumbling, mat breakdown should begin at 4:50. All practice areas should be
left immaculate. No one except the participants and the tumbling supervisors
should be involved in the activity on the mats. No participant should be
socializing with students in the weight room or students traveling through the
gym.

All accidents must be reported to a moderator immediately.

allowed to attend practice after serving detention.) Two unexcused absences

result in removal from blue and gold.

moderator. The pass must include the following information: reason for lateness,
your full name, your team color and group, the date, time you left and the
