Help Us Get Justice for

Kirby & Quigley by Ending

Animal Cruelty!
Companion animals are an important part of the lives of many New Yorkers, but sadly, some people do not
have the same love and respect for animals that we do. Kirby and Quigley, two sweet dogs, became the victims
of burglars who broke into their familys home. They were purposely killed by the criminals. Stories like this
break our collective hearts.
Please help us get justice for Kirby and Quigley, and all other victimized companion animals, by signing our
petition and telling Speaker Carl Heastie to support and pass Kirby and Quigleys Law, A.1596/S.2936. This
measure, sponsored by Assemblyman Jim Tedisco and Senator Phil Boyle, would expand the definition of aggravated cruelty to animals under Busters Law to include harming animals during the commission of another
felony. The bill has already passed the Senate 59 to 1; its time for the Assembly to act.

Yes, I support Kirby & Quigleys Law. Please pass this important measure now!
