Procedure:
Warmup:Studentswillreadastudentgeneratedparagraph.Withapartner,studentswillidentify
strengthsandweaknessesofthestudentwritingsample.Studentswillwritetheirideason
whiteboards.

Activities:

Followingthewarmup,studentswillbeseparatedintothreegroups:studentswhoarereadytowrite
theconclusiontotheiressay,studentswhoarestillwritingthebodyparagraphsoftheiressay,and
studentswhoarestrugglingwithwritingthisessay.

StudentswhoarereadytowritetheconclusiontotheiressaywillviewtheInteractiveWriting
Lessonaboutwritingaconclusionandthendrafttheconclusiontotheiressay.
Studentswhoareworkingonthebodyparagraphsoftheiressaywillcontinuetodrafttheir
