Jimmy: David Cook. [shakes David's hand as audience cheers]. They love ya'

David: I love it.

Jimmy: Dude, that's great. I mean, was it-- was it a year ago? No.

David: Almost officially a year ago, yeah, I guess.

Jimmy: So not even a year ago, is when you won American Idol.

David: Uh, actually last week, we crowned uh...

Kreskin: Right right right

David: ...we crowned a new guy. So I'm...

Jimmy: Yeah

Kreskin: Isn't that something?

David: I'm no long-- I'm a grizzled vet now.

[David and audience laugh]

Jimmy: Really, grizzled vet.

David: Yeah

Jimmy: You had my vote, I can tell you that much.

DavId: Well thank you very much.

Kreskin: I coulda told ya' you were gonna win.

[audience laughs]

David: Hey, where were you last year, man?

[Kreskin laughs]

David: I was stressin' out!

Jimmy: Yeah, yeah. But if you ever need anyone to come stand on you... [shakes hands with Kreskin,
who has a quite vigorous handshake, causing Jimmy to grab his arm aftewards] Thank you so much.

[David, Kreskin, and the audience laugh]
