1. Star Trek T-Shirt: For this design I used Photoshop.

This was one of the

rather easy assignments but something you could also learn something
from. I used a black t-shirt then I used the gradient tool to blend the
background with the color of the shirt. This assignment helped a little more
with my creativity skills. Throughout the year we did quite a bit of t-shirt
designs, and I dont think we needed to do as much.
2. Quickfire Design Challenge Logo: For this Quickfire design I used
Illustrator. This assignment helped with the use of Illustrator. I used the
pen tool, which is such a difficult tool to use in this program, but I think that
this design helped strengthen my skills. I started with a circle then used
the pen tool to make it look like flames. I defiantly think that this
assignment should be used again.
3. Vans Shoe (Hand Drawn): This was the first part to the vans shoe design.
There was nothing too complicating about this project except making the
design using Photoshop. I really enjoyed this project and definitely think it
should be used in other classes.
4. Vans Shoe (Photoshop): For the Vans Shoe Design, I used Photoshop. I
really enjoyed doing this project. For this project I took a picture of my
hand drawn design, uploaded it to Photoshop and then added a layer over
it to create in digitally. This was and easy but fun project that I would
defiantly recommend we do again.
5. Personal Logo: This design was fairly similar to the Quickfire Design Logo.
It involved the same tools and computer program. I thought that this
assignment was pretty fun. I would say that this assignment could also be
used to help get used to the Illustrator program.
6. I am CTE Poster: For the CTE poster, I used Photoshop. This was one of
my favorite projects. I took a silhouette of a man thinking then I created a
collage within the silhouette. I didnt really have any problems with this
assignment but I would recommend that this assignment is done again in
this class.
7. Webcam/Self Portrait: For this assignment, I used Photoshop. This was
probably the hardest assignment that we had to do this quarter but also
had a wide variety of tools to use from Photoshop. I used tools such as:
brush, blur, smudge etc. In this project it was hard to get the actual texture
of a face without letting it look like a painting. I really enjoyed this project
and I think that other students would too.
8. National Park Poster: For this project, I used Photoshop. This assignment
was fairly easy and basic. I didnt really do anything special with this
project. I think that if I were to do this project again then I would go deeper

into the creativity part. I dont think that this specific assignment should be
used again only because it requires such basic skills with Photoshop.
9. Seed Packet Design: For this assignment I used Photoshop. This was
also another easy but rather fun assignment. Also required basic
Photoshop skills but allowed a little more room for creativity. I was really
pleased with the outcome of this project because I felt like it looked like a
seed packet youd find in a store. I think other CMT classes would enjoy
this assignment too.
10. Video Game Case Design: For this assignment I use Photoshop. I also
found this project fun and entertaining. I used the lasso tool, brush and
played a little with the opacity to make my design look a bit more real. I
think that this project should be used again but maybe coming up with our
own game.
11. Set of Stamps: For this project I used Photoshop. This was also a rather
easy assignment. I didnt really have any problems with this assignment. I
think that this project should be used again in other CMT classes.
12. CMT Logo Design: For this project I used Photoshop. This was a pretty
basic assignment. I used a circle filling in different shapes within the circle
with different colors. The bright colors allow for the viewer to see the joy in
CMT. In this class we did a lot with logos, so I think in the next CMT
classes, we shouldnt do as many.
13. Personal Stationary Set Logo: For this logo I used Illustrator. I installed a
font that I liked then put it in Illustrator so I could make it a little more like
my own. I didnt have any difficulties with this assignment. I think that we
should do this again in more CMT classes.
14. Personal Stationary Business Card: For this assignment I used
Photoshop. This entire stationary set was pretty easy. Again I didnt find
any difficulties and would recommend this assignment to be done again
but maybe in a more complex way.
15. Personal Stationary Letterhead: For this assignment I used Photoshop.
With this stationary set, they are required about the same thing you just
had to arrange it to match what you were doing. I also found this fairly
easy with no difficulties.
16. Personal Stationary Envelope: For this project I used Photoshop. I used
the same design but formatted it to fit the criteria for an envelope. I would
really like to do this project again but maybe a little more in depth.

17. Animated Gif: For this project I used Photoshop. This was the first project
we worked on that allowed for movement in our work. At first you may find
this kind of work difficult, but once you work with it its fairly easy. I think we
should do more work like this project in these kind of classes.
18. Personal Animation: For this assignment I used Photoshop. I worked with
the timeline and a lot with the layers. The most difficult part in this project
was working with the layers and getting your animation to flow. I thought
that this was the most fun project we did so far and would defiantly
recommend that we work more with animations in more CMT classes.
19. Design a Cereal Box-Digital Layout: For this Project I used Photoshop. I
took a basic layout of a Cereal box and created something of my own.
There was nothing too difficult about this project. I think this project should
be used in other CMT classes.
20.
Design a Cereal Box-Printed and Displayed: After creating my
design using Photoshop, I printed it. I then put it together. I really enjoyed
this project and think that this should be used in further CMT classes.
