Analogue Legend

Modern crafting sits in the liminal space

between tacit, individual knowledge and
digital, communal knowledge.

These photos document my teaching a

fellow classmate how to use his sewing
machine, and traditional (analogue)
sewing patterns. Online (digital)
tutorials, a.k.a. virtual teachers, via
YouTube helped with details I had
difficulty pinpointing.
