and issues educators face when integrating technology into the K-12 classrooms in Israel.

What type of professional development training do you advocate for teachers to


enable them to successfully integrate technology into the curriculum? Are these
trainings mandatory? Is there focus in teacher training programs on the need to teach
global awareness and prepare students with the skills they will need for the 21st
century workforce?

In Israeli classrooms, which global networks, if any, are used to collaborate with
students and/or teachers from another country? If global networks are not used, is
global awareness part of your curriculum?

Can you speak to the Israeli school systems capability to provide access to
technology and obstacles which may prevent the schools from implementing
technology (ie economics, culture, professional development or infrastructure)? Is
equal access for all students challenging? What other challenges can you describe?

Can you describe what technology is available in the classroom programs you are
affiliated with? How often is this technology used per day/week?

What standards if any, does Israel measure your students against? For example in the
United States we use the Common Core, ISTE, P21 for national and international
assessments.
