Internals 10.Externals * Locus of Control: - Persons, perceptions of the source of their face is termed as locus of control. The categories of people who believe that they are the master of their field and believe that they control what happened to them are classified as internals. The other categories of people who believe that their lives are being control by outside focus and they believe that whatever happens to them is due to luck or chance are classified as externals. Various researches on externals & internals have concluded the following:Externals less satisfied with their job, have higher abstention rates and are less involved on their jobs. Externals are more dissatisfied because they have little control over the organizational outcomes Externals are more suited to jobs that are well structured in which success depends with the direction of others.
