in session, the Honorable Judge Noelle Fabros presiding.
Noelle: Everyone but the jury may be seated. Mr. Clark Bulotano, please swear in
the jury.
Clark: Please raise your right hand. Do you solemnly swear or affirm that you will
truly listen to this case and render a true verdict and a fair sentence as to this
defendant?
De Leon: I do.
Clark: You may be seated.
Fabros: Members of the jury, your duty today will be to determine whether the
defendant is guilty or not guilty based only on facts and evidence provided in
this case. The prosecution has the burden of proving the guilt of the defendant
beyond a reasonable doubt. This burden remains on the prosecution through the
trial. The prosecution must prove that a crime was committed and that the
defendant is the person who committed the crime. However, if you are not
satisfied of the defendants guilt to that extent, then reasonable doubt exists and
the defendant must be found not guilty. Mr.Bulotano, what is todays case?
Clark: YourHonor, todays case between Mr. Terence Isaac Albeus and his father, Mr.
Dean Jude Albeus.
Judge: Is the prosecution ready?
Torrico: (stand up) Yes, Your Honor. (Be seated)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Closing
Arguments~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Judge: Both the prosecution and the defense have now rested their cases. The
attorneys will now present their final arguments. Please remember, what the
attorneys say is NOT evidence. However, do listen closely. They are intended to
aid you in understanding the case. Prosecution, you may begin.
Torrico: Thank you, your Honor. Members of the jury, today you have heard
testimony about the case of Mr. Dean Jude Albeus filed by his own son, Mr.
Terence Isaac Budiongan. I would like to remind you of some important
information that you should consider in your decision. These facts include that
how can Mr. Terence file a case on his father without any big reasons. We all
know that in any case, a person cant even suspect his own father if he, himself,
did not experienced abuses and other cases. As of the testimonies of the
witnesses, theres no question that Mr. Dean really killed his wife, Mrs.Gia
Victoria Albeus. And even intentionally raped his own daughter, Ms. Mary
AngelieAlbeus and abused rights of his own son, Mr. Terence Isaac Budiongan.
Please find the defendant guilty of the charge of Frustrated Homicide and Child
Abuses. Thank you.
Noelle: Defense you may proceed with your closing argument.
Salon: Thank you, your Honor. Members of the jury, today you have heard testimony
about the case between a father and a son. I would like to remind you of some
important information that you should consider in your decision. These facts
include how come a father can do these cases? In fact a father must be the one
who should know the dos and donts as a father. And in any case, even though,
there are many evidences that he is guilty, consider that a father cant do that
on his own family! Please find our client, Mr. Dean Jude Albeus, not guilty. Thank
you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Jury
Deliberation~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Noelle: Members of the jury, you have heard all of the testimony concerning this
case. It is now up to you to determine the facts. You and you alone, are the
judges of the fact. Once you decide what facts the evidence proves, you must
then apply the law as I give it to you to the facts as you find them.
Clark: All Rise. (Stand, get verdict form from the judge and escort Jury to
deliberation room)
