To Whom It May Concern: ;
I have known Abdulkadir-Aden for one year. He has been a student teacher at my school in
fourth grade. He has participated on the grade level team meetings and learned a great deal in
‘our Leader in Me school setting,
We are a Title | school in Granite School District. Our population is over 80% free and reduced
lunch. The diversity in our school ranges from 40% Hispanic, 40% white, and 20% other
minority, such as Polynesian, Black, Arab, etc. Having Mr. Aden spent the entire year which has
afforded him a great opportunity to see the set-up of a classroom, work alongside the
classroom teacher, as well as transitioning over to full-time teaching on his own,
Mr. Aden has grown quite a bit over the year. | can tell that his confidence has grown as he has
had time to create and implement lessons. He has a soft demeanor which students appreciate
and the classroom environment is not noisy. As he sharpens on his engagement in the
classroom, he and the students will feel in sync with the tasks that are assigned.
Mr. Aden has been a positive role model in our school. He takes the time to eat lunch with the
students and talks with them outside at recess. This has afforded him a wonderful personal
connection that helps in the classroom.
Watching Mr. Aden grow over this year in his teaching confidence has been wonderful. He has
gone from a shy, unsure student teacher to a confident, prepared teacher.
