Hospital management system is powerfull and

easy to use and is designed and developed to
deliver real concevible benefits to
hospitals.Hospital system is designed for
multispeciality hospitals and management
processto cover a wide range of operations.it is
an integrated end-to-end hospital to take
effective decision care for patients.It is also used
to improve the quality in clinical process

ABSTRACT:
Hospital management system was done as a part
of our mini project for software engineering
laboratory using netbeans.it consists of variety of
databse like patient,doctor,availability of
wards,entry of various hospital record and other
fields.it also dealwith discharge of patient and bill
information accordingly.It has made every user to
understand the function and ue the system
effectively

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
INFORMATION GENERATED BY VARIOUS
TRANSACTIONS TAKES TIME AND EFFORT TO
STORE AT THE RIGHT PLACE
MANUAL CALCULATIONS ARE ERROR PRONE
AND TAKE A LOT OF TIME THIS MAY RESULT IN
INCORRECT INFORMATION
VARIOUS CHANGES LIKE PATIENT DETAILS,OR
IMMUNISATION DETAILS ARE DIFFICUILT AS
PAPER WORK IS INVOLVED

OBJECTIVE:
Define hospital.
Recording information about the patients who enters the
hospital.
Recording information related to diagnosis given to patients.
Generate bills.
Keeping record of the immunization provided to
childrens/patients.
Keeping information about various diseases and medicine
available to cure them.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Patients enter the hospital ,get room, consult with
doctor, get medicine, bill payment.
Database keeps details of patient, billing information,
details about doctor and their field of work, maintaining
the whole system
Nurses ---helps the doctor, take care of patient, give
medicine, alerts the doctor

NON-FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
i. The system must have enough speed to do the
operations.
ii. The system must have high memory to store all
the datsbase information.
iii. There must be more no of systems.
iv. Suitable persons must be appointed to work
with computer.
v. The system must be maintained periodically
