Psychologist/Special Needs coordinator; liaison between parents and counselors to ensure consistency in emotional, linguistic, and
interpersonal support given to certain campers. Self-initiated, held life-changing conversations with over 70 campers with behavioral,
emotional, and intellectual needs and provided counselors with resources and support to meet campers needs.
Meticulous records of every conversation and personal detail acquired about each camper; these notes became the foundation for the
following days conversations and camper/counselor support given, and conversations held with parents/guardians.
Winner of the 2015 Counselor of the Year Award for tirelessly working with groups most difficult and confusing campers to increase
overall camp inclusivity and campers proactive ability to self-regulate their calmness, kindness, and communication with peer group.
