PROCLAMATION OF ST MICHAEL'S BOYS' NATIONAL SCHOOL, MERVUE

In the name of St Michael's Boys' National School we declare the following to all
Irish men and women of the current and future generations.
We hope that Ireland will remain a united and peaceful country, that will remain
neutral if war ever takes place so that every citizen will feel safe and secure.
We wish for equal rights for every citizen of Ireland so that everyone has the same
opportunities in life.
We demand the right to a better education system where there is free third level
education for all. This would ensure that everyone gets an equal opportunity to reach
their full potential in life. We expect that schools will continue to provide a safe,
happy secure environment for all children.
We will continue to respect, cherish, preserve and promote the Irish language and
traditions by participating in Irish sport, music and dance. We demand an end to
homelessness and poverty so that every citizen will have their own house to call
home.
We aspire to a better healthcare system to stop the overcrowding in hospitals, so that
patients who are sick do not have to wait on trolleys or be subjected to long waiting
list to receive treatment.
We strive to achieve a safer, healthier, greener environment that uses more renewable
energy and we want to incentify people to reduce, reuse and recycle more.
We believe that all religious beliefs and customs should be respected so that we all
can live in an inclusive society.
In conclusion we endeavour to create a country that is equal, united and inclusive
where we strive to encourage the development of our youth.
