I am recent graduate of the University of North Texas, where I earned my Bachelors
degree in Elementary Education with licensure for Kindergarten through sixth grade and English
as a Second Language education in May of 2016.
After working as a student teacher at the Prestwick STEM Academy in the Little Elm
Independent School District for a year, I am able to say with confidence that I effectively
differentiated instruction to fit all learners needs. Instruction was also designed in a manner that
fit to each group of students current level of understanding, learning styles, and interests. Within
each lesson, I utilized assessments to plan instruction as well as adjust teachings throughout the
learning process. During my student teaching, I was able to develop behavioral management
techniques to develop a positive classroom environment and align my learner expectations with
the Student Code of Conduct.
