## Students Prior Knowledge:

The students can add and subtract the numbers.
Students can read the numbers from 1-100.
Can compare between the tens and the ones.
Can draw the tens and the ones.
Possible Problems and Misconceptions:
The student orders numbers based on the value of the digits, instead of place
value.
Solutions:
I will tell the students that first we see the tens which is in the left them the
ones.

Crocodile puppet
I will review the previous lesson but in a fun way.
The lesson is about the greater than and the less than so I will put on the
board two numbers, and the students will put the sign of greater than or smaller
by using the crocodile puppet.

## It is the story time

I will identify the lesson by telling a story; the story is about one girl and her
father how gave her 21 dirhams. Then the girl went to play in the garden, but
she lost her money, so she told her dad to give her money. But when the girl
return to the garden to play again she found her money. From the story I will
explain the ten less and the ten more.
Then I will explain the lesson the ten less and the ten by using the numbers
table.
Then I will do activity is about that I will put one column of the numbers table on
the floor to let the students explore the lesson more. For example, I will say a
number, and they will stand on the numbers then I will say to the student stand
on the ten more of this number and the ten less. The student will jump on the
number.
After that, I will give them the worksheet, and I will solve only one question
then they will complete it. (see Appendix 1)

## Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment):

The mail carrier activity
- One student will be the mail carrier and he will gave the students the mail in the
mail there is activity that the students should solve. (see appendix 2)
- If there is a time I will give them another worksheet to solve it. (see appendix3)
- Also I have prepare extra worksheet for the high students if they finish fast and
for the low students if they want something easier. (see appendix 4)
