Advocacy and Negotiation workshop for Family Carers

Family carers play a key role in supporting their son, daughter, brother,
sister, husband, wife, cousin, niece, nephew, other relative or friend
with a learning disability.
This free workshop will give you an understanding of how to advocate
and negotiate with and for your relative or friend.
This workshop will take place on
13th June in Darlington
Registration from 09.30am with the session 10.00am to 2.30pm
Come along to strengthen your skills in relation to:

Listening for Information
Knowing how to stay strong
Knowing your principles and sticking to them
Being assertive
