She collaborated effectively with her mentor teachers during field experiences. Her energetic personality had a very positive effect, on her professional colleagues. Kelli is a reflective practitioner who assumes a student-centered approach to teaching. Her goal is always to provide the most effective learning opportunities for each child in her care. She brings a ‘mature understanding of children and their developmental learning needs to her instructional planning. She has a solid understanding of instructional methodology and has developed a broad repertoire of teaching strategies upon which to draw. Kelli welcomes constructive criticism and consistently seeks to improve her instruction. Kelli is @ very creative teacher. During her field experiences, she created kid friendly instructional ‘materials with the care that she has consistently applied to all of her course assignments. She effectively uses technology as an instructional resource, engaging her children in high interest learning opportunities. During student teaching, her careful planning led to consistently high levels of student engagement. Kelli has made steady improvement throughout her teaching preparation program. She understands the ‘amount of time and effort needed in the teaching profession and is willing to “go the extra mile” to meet the needs of her students. When faced with challenge, Kelli seeks advice and collaborates with others, diligent about finding the best route to learning goals. Kelli is a team player. Her interactions with teachers, specialists and administrators have consistently been cooperative and professional. She has strong interpersonal skills.
