Introduction
Technological advancement has seized its greatest peek in social
demand throughout the past few centuries, inevitably triggering this
strong cycle of growth between developer and the people.
The world that we know today is heavily abided by technology and is
influenced deeply by its revolutionary aspects. From the establishment
of the first radio to mobile devices today, the contrast in innovation
integrated in these devices, spark a belief that the course of
innovation can be exceled even further, and evidently it has.
It is absurd to summarize the purpose of technology under one
significance, but rather it stems in the address of millions of social
issues and technological voids every day. Technology can be
understood to serve a vital component in enhancing traditional
methods of doing things, traditional methods such as fire and wood to
cook food and heating water. By technologies intervene, the electrical
oven and microwave etc. was created to directly address this aspect of
life. This was not only more efficient but also became beneficial for the
people and manufacturers.
In order to fully understand how technology became the ideal
phenomenon for creativity today, acknowledging the history of this
extraordinarily long journey is vital. Technologies intervene and its
initial impact can be dated as far back as 2400BC, with the first known
calculator invented in Babylonia (Datesandeventsorg, 2015). However
in the more recent times, scheduled back in the early 1900s, the
world has come to witnesses the range of power of technology. For
millenniums, the world was faced with dull colors, whether it was
watching television or capturing moments with non-complex cameras,
color was not a part of the excitement. I was rather nowhere to be
seen on the standard digital platform. However by 1907, color
photography was established invented by Wilbur Wright and Orville
Wright. This generated commotion around the significance of the RGB
spectrum channeling, and by its revolutionary influence, colored
television was later established in the 1940s (Tvobscuritiescom,
2016).
With technology constantly updating and innovating, businesses and
the various markets are becoming more and more dependent on the
direction that technology is heading. This has become the active
gateway for entrepreneurs for centuries now, and it is emphasized that
much more today. By analyzing past trends, this allows for the future
to be somewhat predictable, which is important in this field. In the
next section, the report will narrow in on my position as an
entrepreneur. More specifically how in the time span of 5-10 years,
how the course of action previously taken, can be altered.

<Body of essay>
Successful Entrepreneurs are characterized by many attributes, one is
the nature to be distinctively flexible to new opportunities and trends,
the ability to adapt to new ideas. The fitness industry comprises of this
constant shift, as with new customer demands comes new
opportunities for businesses to develop solutions. By critically
analyzing the patterns of the past it is possible to predict the future.
This partly summarizes the course of action that many fitness
entrepreneurs take to capitalize on the future of fitness by analyzing
the past. Some of the fields that entrepreneurs focus on is the
marketing/advertisement aspect of business, the emerging technology
categorized by rising trends and also new knowledge.

Social Marketing/Advertising:
Propaganda and newspaper articles were the ideal techniques for
promotion in the earlier centuries. Later, during the development of
the radio and the television, it was discovered that these devices were
essential in advocating advertisements, excelling in wide spread
awareness. Later came the social networking phenomenon, Facebook,
YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat and many other popular networks,
became the ideal advertising platforms utilized today. For the first time
ever, this allowed for practically anyone to advertise their businesses,
products, ideas or help.
The utility of social networking within the fitness industry comprises of
promoting content and results. Instagram deems the greatest power in
this case due to its growing reputation whilst still being considerably
young (Eleventygroup, 2016). In the fitness industry this is the best
place to promote products and clients results. However most recently,
users have progressed more towards the live stream feature.
Applications such as snapchat and periscope allow viewers to see what
the user is currently doing. This allows for a more personal relationship
between user and viewer. As a result of this shift, this information can
be absorbed and interpreted that the customers want a deeper, closer
relationship with the provider, knowing that the provider is loyal to the
consumers. In address to this live feature movement, my idea of
starting a fitness brand - providing nutritional plans, training regimes
and also fitness equipment, will need to readily adapt to these
changes and provide interpersonal content. According to Amy Kean,
2015, the future of advertisement is issued to evolve dramatically.
Virtual Reality (VR) will become the ideal route, with holographic
interfaces and extraordinary technology. This sparks a tremendous
opportunity for me to adapt before any other competitor.

The spectacle of marketing and advertisement has adjusted heavily,

adapting into a more encouraging field for all people. In addition to the
potential shift in the current state of advertisement, it is inevitable that
the emergence of new technology too, will experience a great shift, as
mentioned before with the development of (VR). Consequently, this
shift may be easier for some than others to adapt too, hence the great
demand for me take advantage when change arrives.

Emerging Technology:
Out with the old and in with the new. Technology in itself is a
reflection of the human psyche, the human psyche has developed the
ability to distinguish between what is adequate and what is
inadequate. From this we have been able to create more efficient
technology addressing stigmas of the previous era of technology. It has
become noticeably clear that the current state that technology is at,
especially within the fitness industry is sleek and wearable devices.
Not to mention, that technology as a whole over the years, have been
becoming smaller but more powerful. This is a clear characteristic of
majority of the powerful devices within the market today including the
Fitbit.
With the overly popular Fitbit industry taking its toll within the fitness
industry, many would question the distinction of these devices in
comparison to other brands. What makes them so different?
Consequently, theyre monetization function is on a different level
compared to others enabling users to virtually monitor their health
with the addition of a sleek, fashionable design (James stables, 2016).
On the same note, technology has the capacity to evolve and perhaps
within the next 5-10 years, the state of fitness devices will enter a
different realm of capabilities and specific functions. According to Evie
Nagy, 2015, in the next 5-10 years, the world will be introduced to
noninvasive invisible sensory, with the wearable devices out of the
market and in with programed chips or perhaps smart clothing which is
somewhat a stem off fitness bands and accessories. On the topic of
becoming an entrepreneur, this information will give me the
advantage that I need to take the upper hand though I will have to
adapt to this shift quite rapidly. Gamification is also something that I
am willing to utilize. With the combination of fitness and objective
games deeming to take over the traditional gym music. This will
instill a greater level of motivation to interpret challenges as virtual
levels in games. This has the potential to create a dynamic link
between the gaming and fitness industry, something that I am
interested in incorporating within my business.
Undoubtedly the emergence of new technology is inevitable, attaining
the potential to change the face of the fitness industry as a whole. The
future scope of the fitness industry is seeking to contribute technology
to a higher extent as this will drive fitness into a smarter environment.
Possibilities such as invisible sensory and gamification are only specs

within the spectrum, and this deems great for people whom are facing
challenges such as experiencing a lack of motivation, or beginners
needing assistance. Although technology is an important factor that
will lead to the enhancement of fitness, new knowledge is just as
important as this will explore the depths of more accurate explanation
to specific areas of fitness, and the development of more efficient
training and dieting plans.

New Knowledge:
Unquestionable is the significance of dietary and exercise, in being
painted as the very pinnacle of fitness and health. The level of
knowledge that is utilized within fitness today, allows for accurate
results. With new research exploring new techniques, knowledge will
only expand for me to capitalize within my business. However, as
techniques become more complex and rather confusing, perhaps this
will inflict more people declining fitness programs than encouraging
them to instill trust in me as their mentor.
In such a contaminated industry with similar knowledge being
presented in such diverse ways, as a result this is accountable for the
level of confusion and ultimately the disengagement of people seeking
assistance from fitness mentors. I believe, in order to stand out from
the competition whom are contributing to this misperception, perhaps
simplicity is the key to overall growth and drawing customer revenue.
This is supported by Johnathan Goodman, 2013, as it mentions the
strategical theory of approaching this stigma with simplicity and a
more encouraging environment. In context of pursuing my fitness
industry, I believe by projecting a more simplistic but effective plan, as
a result I am able to captivate the peoples attention and gain wide
spread awareness of my business. I have invested time in an idea that
is revolved around the concept of high intensity cardio, as I hope to
emphasize this within my training regimes. Although this is
controversial, in being stated one of the best methods for fat loss, I
embark in technology that could mimic HIIT. In collaboration with
emerging technology, invisible sensory within clothing would perform
this mimic. How? These clothings will have specially designed fabric
holding valves and pockets, in which are programmed to filter air
entering. By fluctuating this, the user can control body heat. Ideas
such as these, will grant me the advantage I need to stand out within
the fitness market.

Ideally, my strategical theory is to approach this market, in a more

simplistic manner, but at the same time utilize futuristic technology to
develop equipment that will not confuse the customers but encourage
to engage. Research supports this as it is logical that through years of
discovering different ways of performing the same technique or dietary
information, the world is in need for a more clear and basic plan. That
way people would be enticed to begin, than to be too confused to even
begin the process.

Conclusion
Technology as a whole presents tremendous opportunities for humanity
to excel in imagination and to create astonishing, life changing things. It
is not difficult to visualize the constant shift and changes made to better
the lives of many. I believe I am contributing to this influential wave of
changing lives, given the business I am pursuing as an entrepreneur,
directly addresses the health and psychological aspect of peoples lives.
The ideas that I inherit are quite broad, however within 5-10 years, the
impossible will be made possible. By taking advantage of the marketing
and advertisement platforms, I am able to gain the advantage that I
need to perform greater than the competition. This is also the case with
my idea of developing new technology that have been already thought to
arise, therefore the commotion and revenue will be present after
establishment. Finally, in a heavily congested industry with knowledge
floating around with no real clear explanation, I believe by approaching
this stigma with simplistic/basic plans and training regimes, this will
allow me to become in contrast with my competitors.
