Telecommunications 7/1979 to 10/2008
n Construction Engineering Manager with A.T.&T for last 10 years of career. Vast experience in
the placement, maintenance and restoration of all telephone facilities (fiber, copper, buried,
ariel and underground. Trained and experienced in reading blueprints and plats. Responsible for
coordinating with engineering department changes in the field that are encountered and
deciding the necessity of changes (as built job). Coordinated work with various vendors as
needed to accomplish goals. Was part of time study project for A.T.&T. coordinated with U.P.S.
(measured efficiency time allotments for work tasks, later implemented by A.T.&T. as part of
MSOC). At retirement was part of project to produce video over copper wiring for television (U-
Verse). Vast experience in Central Office environment.

n Began career in 1979 as Outside Plant Tech. (lineman). Surplused in 1985 and rehired in same
capacity in 1987. Became Installation/ Repairman in 1996. During those years worked with
contractors and A.T.&T. supervisors coordinating road-widening projects. Was involved in
restoration of telephone facilities in many hurricane-damaged areas. Promoted to supervisor
and led a team of 20 techs.. Responsibilities included Safety (to OSHA, DOT and A.T.&T.
standards), Quality, Efficiency and Production. Evaluated all techs. in said categories on a
quarterly and yearly basis.

Graduated from Blessed Sacrament High School in New Rochelle, NY.. 9/1972 to 6/1976
College prep with 3.5 g.p.a..
Palm Beach Community College Lake Worth, FL.
7/1976 to 1978 Biology major- no degree
Presently enrolled in DeVry University working on
Electronics Engineering Degree

Skills
Trained cable location, splicing, placement, testing etc.. Trained in public relations, union relations,
human resources, leadership skills , customer satisfaction. Class A CDL State of Florida. Forklift
