Cat Equipment Care Advisor (ECA) Monitor:
New Support Process
This IRM announces the new support process for Cat Equipment Care Advisor (ECA) Monitor. Cat ECA is a powerful
web-based application that is an enabler to dealer Condition Monitoring (CM) services. This application supports Cat
EMSolutions Level 3: ADVISE, Level 4: SUPPORT and Level 5: MANAGE.
ECA Monitor gives dealers a dashboard view of their customers equipment. The dashboard aggregates data so the dealer
Condition Monitoring Advisors (CMAs) can quickly correlate the information, identify potential equipment problems,
determine root causes and make recommendations to resolve them. It contains links to a number of Cat systems and serves
as a way to view and store Cat ET Product Status Reports and Site Condition studies creating one dashboard for fast and
efficient research.
ECA Monitor helps dealers better understand their customers equipment health and provide a greater level of support.
Data from Cat SOSSM Services, Product LinkTM, and Cat Inspect is collected and displayed for selected equipment groups
for each CMA. Equipment data is displayed starting with those in the poorest health first, allowing the CMA to prioritize work.
Dealers can also create a view sorted and filtered on a variety of fields. The flexibility in the offering helps CMA correlate
specific event data to provide faster repair recommendations.
ECA Monitor aggregates and correlates information enabling the dealer to make timely, proactive recommendations to a
customer before potential failures, saving the customer excessive repair costs and increases the machines availability.
Cat ECA Monitor Support Process

All support-related questions (from minor to critical priority issues) should be directed to our new centralized
ECA Monitor support inbox: monitor@catsupport.com. If your request is urgent, it will be escalated immediately
as needed.

For requesting initial access to ECA Monitor, please contact your local District or DSD representative.

Once access has been given, additional users can request access to ECA Monitor, by submitting a request to
monitor@catsupport.com with the following information. Requests will be processed within 48 hours.

ECA Monitor Pricing:
The fees are intended to help offset ongoing development, support and platform costs. Only Cat Ecosystems integrations
will be available in ECA Monitor (Cat SOSSM, Cat Inspect, Product Link, etc.).
Tier I: $6,000

Annual SOS Volume less than 20,000 samples or fewer than 1,000 connected units with Product Link

Tier II: $12,000

Annual SOS Volume greater than 20,000 samples and more than 1,000 connected units with Product Link
