The department has eight members


of staff. Seven lecturers and one
laboratory technician, including Food
Microbiologists, a Food Technologist,
Food Analyst, Food Chemist, Food
Nutritionist, Dairy Technologist and a
Food Engineer.

Utilization of pearl millet Mahangu flour
in the production of value added products
such as pasta, commercial bread and
choc-chip cookies.
