Judy and Sara's Chili Recipe

*1 lb. ground turkey *dash(es) of salt and pepper *1 large onion, chopped *1 red bell pepper chopped , *1 green pepper chopped , *2 medium tomatoes, diced *liberal amount of freshly chopped parsley *3 cloves garlic, minced *1 Jalapeño, diced *packet of your favorite chili seasoning *1 cup spaghetti sauce *1 can tomato paste *1 can kidney beans (or two) *2 tbsp paprika *2 tbsp chili powder

Brown turkey in skillet, season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, saute peppers and onion. Combine all ingredients. Simmer for 1.5 hours, stir frequently, and add more spice to taste. Makes about 12 servings.

Try it with bacon. Fry up 8 pieces of bacon, crumble, and sprinkle into the chili before serving. The Saucy Dipper eats this atop cornbread (sauce) or as a dip by adding one part queso for every part chili.
