I am a student at a four year university in the southern part of the United States.

IT365, using technology in an educational setting was a required course The

purpose of the course was to help pre-service teachers become proficient in
utilizing technology to enhance their lessons and also for assessment purposes. The
curriculum reflects the National Educational Technology Standards as created by
the International Society for Technology in Education. The assignments created by
students throughout the course include:

• Concept Map
• Integrating technology into a lesson plan during the teaching and
assessment phase
• Evaluating websites for content and usability
• Creating artifacts using Web 2.0 tools
• Creating a teacher web site
• Creating a video using Movie Maker
• Case study utilizing technology to aid special needs students
• Utilizing turnitin to detect plagiarized material
• Blogfolio as a reflection of what was learned in addition to exposure to the
latest trends in technology.

,a reflection on what I learned about each standard and future learning goals.
